VIP client- and referral event. Team GUIEL was so excited to host our very first Halloween client event at Aldor Acres. We set up out front with so many friends and clients coming out to share their day with us. The rain even held out while everyone got to eat treats, feed the animals and pick out their favourite pumpkin to take home. Thank you to each and everyone of you that came and we can not wait to do it again next year!!

Thank you Walnut Grove Community. We were overwhelmed with the amount of support we had in our first annual back to school supply fundraiser. It was so nice to connect with all of you that came out to drop off supplies and cash donations. With the help from all of you, we were able to help 54 students with back to school supplies. These backpacks and supplies were delivered to WGSS, Topham Elementary, West Langley Elementary, Alex Hope Elementary, Dorothy Peacock Elementary, and James Kennedy Elementary and Gordon Greenwood. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts <3

FURNACE AND WATER HEATER ANNUAL SERVICE- This task involves scheduling a trained service professional to do a thorough inspection, cleaning and adjustment of your furnace and water heater.

TESTING GFI OUTLETS

To test a GFI outlet, just plug a small electrical appliance into the outlet, and then press the “test” button on the outlet. The appliance should immediately shut off. If it does not, then this outlet should not be used until the GFI has been replaced

CHECK OUTSIDE DRYER VENT FLAP

At least once a year you should check your outside dryer vent to be sure that it is not clogged and stuck in the open position.

OUTSIDE LIGHTING INSPECTION

If any of your outside light fixtures have bulbs that have burned out, then September is a good month to replace them before the weather gets bad, and daylight hours start getting shorter.

SMOKE DETECTOR INSPECTION

At least once a year you should clean, test and change the batteries in your smoke detectors.

June Home Tips Checklist to keep your home cool during the summer heat.

Limit the use of appliances and use your grill for outside cooking

Try light-blocking curtains or black out shades

Switch out your incandescent bulbs and limit your light use

Use a cooling mattress or a cooling pillow to help keep you cool at night

Add a pergola or umbrella to your patio

Try a standing fan to circulate airflow or a free standing air conditioner

And eat LOTS of popsicles to stay cool 😉
